Minister of Energy B. Naidalaa: “In June 2026, Mongolia successfully conducted its first-ever renewable energy auction. As a result, project electricity tariffs were set at 4.85–7.8 cents per kWh, bringing renewed momentum to the energy sector, which had faced prolonged stagnation. Going forward, renewable energy project selections will be conducted through competitive auctions.”
